January 6, 2009 - Leave a Response

Happy New Year! The year starts with your truly turning 50. But when you are a character actor, aging just mean less makeup! Currently directing Aladdin Jr. at Ipswich Middle School, and soon auditioning for Mulan Jr. at moonlight productions. Some gigs coming up as Aesop, soon to be followed by Shakespeare and C.S. Lewis. And I am working on several new and fun projects that will be announced soon.It is going to be a great year!

Teaching

October 16, 2008 - Leave a Response

Out to Sturbridge tomorrow, for part 2 of a three part seminar I teach on Underwriting. New seminars loom, including a new public one I am very excited about.

EPISODE 306

October 7, 2008 - Leave a Response

Worked yesterday on the Showtime series The Brotherhood. Just some background work for me in a resturant and walking by a coffee place. But great to be back on  the TV set again, working with Jason Clarke an amazing actor.

Arthur!

October 3, 2008 - Leave a Response

I will be at WGBH tomorrow recording narration for the ARTHUR cartoon. ARTHUR  was one of my earliest gigs for Descriptive  Video Services, and still one of my favorites. For some reason I have always been used for cartoons, ARTHUR, MARTHA SPEAKS, BOOK OF VIRTUES, FRANNIES FEET, but I really love them all! It’s the kid in me.

Writing….

October 2, 2008 - Leave a Response

Trying to launch a new writing project, which will actually serve as a base for a bigger project that will have me busy for the next few years, well OK, busier!

What’s new?

October 1, 2008 - Leave a Response

Having had a great trip to perform Shakespeare’s Ghost down in Provincetown, I am back at full tilt for this busy Fall. Directing A Midsummer Nights Dream at the Ipswich Middle School, and Brigadoon over at moonlight productions, (www.moonlightproductions.org). I have just returned from Orlando, for the annual meeting of the Richard the Third Society, a wonderful group that trys to honor the REAL Richard the Third, not the Shakespeare/Thomas More version. Over at Colonial Radio, Halloween Tree is released, and now on sale at Amazon, be sure and link to Amazon from our website here.

This weekend is a gig as Ben Franklin in Franklin MA. Dr. Franklin also appears at the Center for Financial Trainings annual meeting in November. Then it will be time for Charles Dickens, and my one man version of A Christmas Carol!

In private news, I have a new project on the burner that will be fun, or I hope it will be!

Great P-town run!

September 16, 2008 - Leave a Response

Shakespeare’s Ghost had a great run in P-town. Many thanks to the Hier and Miss Amy. Many a new project is on the horizon!

Crunching

August 26, 2008 - Leave a Response

Working on my lines for the upcoming show in Provincetown, Shakespeare’s Ghost will be playing in just 2 weeks! I admit to being nervous, its a new venue for us, and we are working hard to get the word out!

Over at moonlight, we will be producing the great Lerner and Lowe musical, Brigadoon, this Fall. I am directing, Sandi Nason is music directing, so it should be a great show.
