J.T.

J.T. Turner is an award winning actor with credits on stage, in TV, radio and film. His stage work includes the roles of Dysart in Equus, Benjamin Franklin in 1776, Colonel Nathan Jessup in A Few Good Men, Henry II in The Lion In Winter, Noah in Two by Two, The Innkeeper in Man of LaMancha, Chauvelin in The Scarlet Pimpernel.J.T. has appeared in many feature films, including Mystic River, Meet Joe Black, The Game Plan, Dan In Real Life, The Crucible, and A Civil Action. For T.V., he has worked on episodes of The Sopranos, and has a small recurring role as a State Senator in The Brotherhood, on Showtime. J.T also serves as the Descriptive Narrator for many PBS shows, including Arthur, Frannie’s Feet, and episodes of Miss Marple.Additionally, his voice can be heard on many audio dramas by the Colonial Radio Theater, including Captain Blood, Dandelion Wine, and Something Wicked This Way Comes. His newest releases, Ray Bradbury’s Halloween Tree and H. Rider Haggard’s King Solomon’s Mines, will be out later this year. J.T. can also be heard on XM radio, as Father Brown in The Father Brown Series, and episodes of Powder River.J.T. is also a historical reenactor, and tours as Benjamin Franklin, Charles Dickens, Aesop, and temperance leader John Gough. He is the founder and director of moonlight productions inc., a theater company dedicated to using theater as an outreach to children and teens. He is also the Artistic Director of The Actors Company.
